Born in Denver, Colorado, I moved to Boston to pursue my passion of architecture and design at Northeastern University. I was drawn to the program because of its global focus and incredible internship opportunities and ended up falling in love both with my work, and with the city itself. During my time at Northeastern, I was able to gain real world experience through internships at YouthBuild Boston and then at Integrated Design Group.
As my time at NU comes to an end, I find myself expanding my horizions- seeking design solutions beyond architecture. My last position was at an engineering firm, AKF Group, where I found the atmosphere both refreshing and familiar. Wherever my career takes me in the building industry, I am confident that I bring a lot to the table. When I'm not at work, you can find me zipping from concert, to mountain, to couch on my trusty rusty road bike.
Stubborn and independent to a fault, I decided my portfolio would be 100% genuinely mine, so I embarked on the task of learning how to code from scratch. Every image, vector, line of code, and written word comes from my fingers (any tips?). The internet is an amazing resource and I highly recommend checking out codecademy, a totally free, totally awesome source to learn HTML, CSS, ruby on rails, python, and more.
I am currently seeking positions in Boston and New York for architectural work or related building systems engineering. If you wish to get in touch, please do email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org or visit my linked in page. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
